He came to photography as a traveller exploring Asia in his mid 20’s. As a biologist and Dad he got his start taking photos of his family and wildlife adventures. Getting published early on in magazines thoughout Asia reinforced the idea to pursue this full time. Upon return to Canada that passion grew as he began teaching photography and rediscovered mountain biking in BC.

A year long leave to pursue photography full time was the leap that he needed to find his niche in the mountain biking and sports action communities of western Canada. Over time he has developed a growing client base and is focused on action driven visual storytelling.

Chris is always looking for new great light and new photographic challenges. He is always excited when projects allow him to meet new people and travel to new places.
